Q: What does blafeo stand for?
A: Blafeo is an acronym for BLogs Are For Every One is was going to originally be a free service but then we realized that we would have to pay for the dedicated server and the bandwidth some way and instead of putting our ads on your blog we decided to charge for the service and dropped the tag line Blogs Are For Every One.
Q: Can I move my blog if I choose to do so?
A: Yes, blafeo has a built in import and export function. You can import from other services and you can export your posts to take with you when you move. One thing to note is that you can not export the theme or the theme settings you will have to recreate these on you new site.
Q: Why do you charge for this when other services are free?
A: First I would like to point out that the other services aren’t free they get paid by running their ads on your site. This means that you do the work they make the money. The rest of this was answered in the what does blafeo stand for question.
Q: Is there anything I can do to improve my search engine rankings?
A: There are a lot of little things you can do to improve your search engine rankings. Things like; knowing what keywords you really want to rank for, getting backlinks to your site, formating your post titles the right way, using your keywords and synonyms properly, etc. We cover this in the videos at Blogging Beginners.
Q: Can I use my own domain name?
A: Yes you can, but you need to know how to configure the domain to point at the IP address of Blafeo. For right now if you want to use your own domain name we recommend that you contact us and let us know what domain name you have and we set it up on this server. This way we can make sure the domain is set up properly to be mapped to your blog.
